Prescriptions for Mounjaro jabs

Further to reports announced today in the news that  “Prescriptions for Mounjaro jabs, to help people lose weight, will be available at GP surgeries in England from today – but only for those who meet very strict criteria” Prescriptions for his drug will not necessarily be available from all local GP’s and in some cases will come from other primary care services . Garforth Medical Practice is currently not part of any pilot with regards to this piece of work and we are awaiting further information from our Integrated Care Board ( ICB).
