E-Reception is a fantastic new way to communicate with the Practice. It is accessible via our website, Twitter and Facebook.

E-Reception will save you time as you won’t need to wait to speak to one of our Receptionists, instead you can fill out a quick and easy form online which will then be emailed to the Practice who will also respond via email.

This system helps us to triage your query to the relevant department and ensure you are receiving the most appropriate care.

Primary Care Saturday Service

We have been providing an Extended Hours Patient Access and Healthy Lifestyle Service across 3 hubs in the locality for the past 2 years.

The funding for these services has now come to an end and they will cease at the end of October.

Patients wanting to access Healthy Lifestyle services will need to speak to the GP or nurse who can direct you to services available in our locality.

Extended Hours Access Service has now been transferred to Seacroft Hospital and St George’s Centre where patients can see a GP between 6.30pm and 8.00pm Mon to Fri and at weekends.

Bowel Screening – Take the Test

Patients aged between 60 and 74 are sent a bowel screening kit by the NHS National Bowel Screening Programme. Our doctors and nurses believe it is important that patients receive relevant screening and strongly encourage all patients to take the test.  Whilst screening does not diagnose bowel cancer, the results will tell you whether you need an examination of your bowels called a colonoscopy.

Accountable / Named GP

All patients have a named accountable GP who has the overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides to you. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice. They will also work with other relevant professionals, who are involved in your care, to ensure that any care package you require meets your individual needs. As a patient you do not have to take any further action. We are informing patients of their allocated GP as they contact the practice but if you would like to know who your or your child’s allocated GP is please ask at reception or telephone the practice.

Patient Participation Group (PPG)

The Practice has now established a group of patients who are willing to contribute some of their time to the development of the Practice and its Health Services.
